Stardust

(Dedicated to the incredible burlesque dancers I've had the pleasure of working with.)

Like stardust falling from the sky.......She is a muse, a siren, a seductress.

She is a bright light, behind mysterious eyes. Watching her move will put you into a trance. And if her gaze meets yours while she's dancing, you will feel as if her eyes have pierced your soul.

She feels just as pretty wearing a t-shirt & jeans as she does in lipstick & lace, because she knows her spirit is what truly makes her beautiful.

She would prefer you compliment her heart, or intelligence, rather than her beauty.

But beautiful she is....because her movement embodies the life and wisdom of her ancestors, the grace of a movie star, and the heart of an angel.

She is feisty. She has a voice and opinions. She is not afraid to say no.

She is a survivor. An individual. But she will melt in the arms of a man that truly loves and respects her.

When she says I Love You, you will feel as if God himself is shining down upon you.

She is kind, generous and full of life. And that is why she dances. Her intention is to share the beauty she feels on the inside with all those around her. Dancing is her way of giving God thanks.

The way she lets go and just LIVES when she is on-stage inspires everyone who watches. The sound of an audiences' applause is music to her ears.

She loves adventure, music, and travel. Because every new song she hears and every new place she goes colors her art.

She has an aura so strong, no one is left untouched. She is self-assured, dignified, and bold. Her confidence may intimidate you, until she opens her mouth and her sweet words put you at ease.

Many men will lust after her, but few will know her well enough to love her. It takes a strong man to love a woman that independent. And the one man who can love her AND allow her to fly, soon finds he's been granted a gift from the heavens. And like stardust falling from the sky....together, they will dance.
