I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post. I've been hella busy with photo shoots, writing for Examiner.com (I'm their new L.A. Entertainment reporter!) and doing some songwriting.

Most people who know me are probably wondering, "Since when does Shannon write songs?!" Well, since I was 11 years old, I've kept a journal. And in those journals, I've written MASSIVE amounts of poetry, as well as creative ideas, and just plain old details about what was going on in my life at that particular moment.

And now that my little songbird, sister Airin is making the move out to L.A., I thought what better time to turn some of these poems into actual songs. Plus, I've always secretly wanted to record songs myself. And what better time than the present! So I've decided to use my blog to share some of the songs I've been working on lately. Within the next few weeks, I'll post some of my favorite lyrics and please feel free to let me know what you think.
